Why we built a European infrastructure
European financial institutions are increasingly required to ensure that data is stored and processed within the European Union, in alignment with regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our new infrastructure directly addresses this need, ensuring that client data remains fully domiciled within the EU from storage to processing, across both our platform and third-party integrations.
This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to serving global investment firms with the enterprise-grade compliance, performance, and privacy they require.
How Blueflame's EU and US environments differ
The core product experience remains consistent across both our US and EU environments. Clients will continue to benefit from the full capabilities of the Blueflame platform, featuring Chat, Blueprints, Search, and more, regardless of infrastructure.
While there are some differences in underlying model support and integration endpoints due to data residency constraints, our engineering team has ensured continuity of performance and functionality. All updates and new feature releases will be synchronized across both regions.

Supporting clients through migration
For European clients or those with EU operations, migrating to the new infrastructure is entirely optional and fully supported by the Blueflame team. Should you choose to migrate, your Client Success Manager will coordinate the process end-to-end: preserving all account settings, assets, and audit data to ensure a seamless transition.
